The main beach, Fletcher Cove, can be found at 111 South Sierra, has free parking, easy street access, and year-round lifeguards on duty. Here you will find recreational activities such as surfing, body boarding, and jogging. For snorkeling and scuba diving, Tide Beach Park is known for its large reefs and is located a half mile north of Fletcher Cove.

One of Solana Beach`s hotspots, Cedros Avenue District, is like taking "a stroll down a charming European Side Street," according to the Los Angeles Times. With weekly farmers` markets, alluring boutiques, local art galleries, and more, Cedros Avenue is known for its lively and eccentric atmosphere. Cedros Avenue District has over two-and-a-half blocks of 85 unique boutiques and galleries with fashions, housewares, art, and collectibles. Celebrating Latino Culture

Annually, the residents of Solana Beach can be found at Fiesta del Sol, a festival celebrating Latino culture. Fiesta del Sol is a two-day event with live music and performances, local food vendors, showcases for children`s groups, and arts and crafts booths. This festival brings about 50,000 people from all over the northern San Diego area.
